Import of existing site doesn't import featured image

    I’m playing with the idea of moving my self-hosted site to wordpress.com (I haven’t decided what to do). So I exported the entries (only the blog posts, not pages, etc) from my current site and tried importing them to a newly created site on wordpress.com.

    The entries seem to have been imported but no media at all, most of my posts have a featured image but there is none available and when I look in the media library it’s empty (except three images that I assume came with the theme/example post). I didn’t notice any ‘import media’ checkbox or anything like that so I assume I missed something, but what/where?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
