import of WP file doesn't work

    Hello,

    I have tried to import the exported data of my another blog, which I have made via the system of my recent provider (blog.de) who has quit his service. They told me before they were gone offline, that I can use this export-file with every WP-blog without any trouble. But since I have uploaded the file, I get the same message that the imported data will be ready soon, if not, I should contact the support oto ask for help. Would you please check it and solve the problem or tell me what I have made wrong? If the import won’t be successful finally, I would loose very much content, that I have created allone on my own in serveral years of serious work. So I guess you can understand, that I really strongly hope to get help here and the data import will be successful finally!

    Hello Shlomo,
    If you are still waiting on the importer to finish and it’s been processing for more than 24 hours, a WordPress.com staff member will probably have to reset it. For that add “modlook” to the tags section in this forum thread.
