Import old WordPress Site

Hello,
I just purchased the personal plan and I am trying to import my old WordPress website onto a new WordPress website.
I was previously using a website managing company and they sent me my “site files” in a .zip, but whenever I go to import them I get errors.
I try to search for help, however, all the answers lead to nothing. I was told to get all-in-one mirgrator plugin, but I need a “business plan” for plugins. I was also told to just import the .XLM files to WordPress import section but the site files the company sent me only have .php files and not .xlm files.
Does anyone have advice for how to import my site files .zip that only has .php files onto my new WordPress website without having to own the business plan? I feel like there are no real resources for my issue. I would love some help.

We are only able to work with .XML “export” files, but it sounds like your previour provider instead gave you a full download of the raw server files for your site, which we are not able to work with.
Instead you will need to locate a host that is able to work with those files to restore your site. If you are looking for a good web host for your self-hosted site, we recommend the following providers, who all offer easy-to-use wizards to help you get your first WordPress site set up and running:
That said, most major web hosting providers will work, so you can just ask if the one you are interested in supports WordPress and is able to work with the file that you have been given from your previous provider.
