Import plugins

  Hi,

  I just established a wordpress blogg and want to install a plugin. I have downloaded the plugin locally, but I can’t find where to upload the plugin. Please, can anyone help me??

  Plugins are not allowed on blogs at wordpress.COM for security reasons. Plugins are for self-hosted blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG.

  The footer of the blog has this “Proudly powered by WordPress. ” and it’s linked to http://wordpress.org As this is a wordpress>ORG install and not a wordpress>COM free hosted blog you must post to http://wordpress/ORG/support/ We cannot help with that install here on the wordpress.COM support forum.

  @TT, that is the 2010 faux pax I reported in the footer. The URL is a wordpress.COM blog.
