import posts from a previous blog

    I started this blog and tried to import earlier posts from a wordpress doc, and it says that i should contact you in 24h if i don’t hear from you. Now it has been almost 6 months and I still haven’t heard from you. What’s the problem?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    sorry about the delay! if you are importing a post into your new blog from an old WordPress.com blog of yours…

    you’ll be “exporting” your post from your old blog; there’s good help here for that: http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/; in a word you’ll be creating a file on your local computer in this step

    you’ll be “importing” the file you create on your local computer to your new blog; there’s good help here for that here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/export/; in a word you’ll be pulling the file you created in the exporting-step into your new blog
