Import problem and BLOG structure set up problem

    Dear Sirs,
    I imported Yahoo backup (zipped) file into wordpress, all text files can be successfully imported, however, all image files cannot be shown on the blog, I would says this is broken link, when mouse over I can see the photos name but not see the image.
    The second question is I created a new page <POST> and want to put all posts on this page and just want to leave <HOME> page more concise that only want to contain few articles that I want to emphasis to reader. How can I do it ?

    By default this is the front page of your blog http://giegiecat.wordpress.com/

    And, by default the front page of your blog displays all published posts (not pages) in reverse chronological order, with the most recently published post on top. That is for the convenience of your returning visitors, who come to read your latest post, and who are not likely to be happy with being compelled to click through the same static page with the same blah, blah, blah on it every time they visit the blog looking for the latest post.

    However, if you do not want all the posts to show on the front page, then you can create a static front page. To do that create two pages http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/ called for example “Welcome” for your site and a “Blog” page for posts to display on.

    After you do that you go to > Settings > Reading and make the designation change and click “save changes”.

    It looks like there may be an issue with your export file. All of your images are showing relative links like so:

    ../images/dEZo5L4SCUnIsebqzaRrsg.jpg

    It looks like your export file may not have included media files (images) or absolute links to the image source locations.

    If you have a dropbox account and wouldn’t mind doing so, it would be helpful if you could upload your export file from Yahoo so that I can take a look at it. If you wish, you can contact me privately via email with that link. Please include #319294-f in the subject line of the email

    At this point, without knowing more, you may need to contact Yahoo for additional assistance.
