  I can’t get my Xanga to import. It says the file isn’t an .xml file, but it is.

  You might also try the WordPress importer rather than the Xanga-specific importer.

  Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually.
