Hello! I’m thinking about moving my blog from Typepad to WordPress. Does importing blog posts include all media and all comments? Or are there any pieces that will break?

When you create an XML export file of blog content you are creating a copy. If you have trouble with the import then Staff will assist you with it. http://en.support.wordpress.com/import/
