Import RSS feed as posts on a regular basis

I’m trying to see if WordPress can do what I’m currently doing with MovableType. In theory, it should work, but the practice? Not so much, yet.

I have an “action stream” here:
    http://agerstein.net/elsewhere/

It’s a collection of my activities from around the web: flickr, twitter, hulu, etc. There’s a job that runs on a regular basis that queries my RSS feeds from those services and imports them into the activity stream.

I’m trying, on my wordpress site (http://agerstein.net/wordpress) to replicate that as much as I can.

Right now, twitter integration is via Alex Kings “Twitter Tools”, and that’s working as I expect it to.

I configured Flickr to post anything I post via cell phone to the blog, and that works as expected.

I can’t, however, figure out how to go out and get the other things (hulu, delicious, etc) imported – and posted – to my blog. Not just have them show up in the sidebar, but have the things I post to those sites become actual entries in my blog. There’s a slew of “rss import to wp” type blog posts and such, but they all only deal with displaying the RSS feed as part of a widget.

Is this possible? Am I expecting too much?
