  wordpress.com has a very easy GoDaddy importing tool, https://en.support.wordpress.com/import/import-from-godaddy/

  I already have a wordpress site. I have just added in plug in Akismet and got an email from wordpress telling me to activate my new wordpress site. How can I link this to my existing site?

  In the meantime I am unable to edit or publish any blogs on my existing site.

  Ideas on what I can do to restore functionality?
