Import some posts from other blog

  I need to import a few posts from another site. They are all from one author so it was easy to export the posts with comments to an XML.
  1. I want to confirm that when I import posts, it has no effect on existing posts.
  2. Do I need to edit the XML file before importing, for example, the correct site domain or author name?
  3. anything I should know?

  Hello there,

  1. Importing additional posts won’t affect the existing ones.
  2. Nope, you don’t need to make edits. You can choose to assign the posts to another author when importing.
