Import still processing after four days

Did an export from my old self-hosted WP site and attempted to import to my new WP-hosted site.
Images, Users and Categories were imported straight away, but the Blog Posts are still not imported.
Import page (wp-admin/admin.php?import=wordpress) says “Processing… We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.”Help is appreciated

How large is the file please?
When we need Staff help with issues Volunteers cannot resolve like this one we type modlook into the sidebar tags on our forum threads.
