Import Stuck

I am trying to import another WordPress site to this new site (marinelifebackup.wordpress.com) and the importer has been stuck for days with no way to stop or reset.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Thank you. Now I am getting the error message: “This does not appear to be a WXR file, missing/invalid WXR version number”

Is that error coming form the link I sent above? Are you able to load that page and select the file to import?

Yes it is. The page loaded fine and when I selected the file for import is when I got the error message.
My export file was too large (32 MB), so I had to split it before importing. I am guessing that is what is causing the error?
I used the 3rd party software WXR Splitter to split the original export.

Right, the file size is limited to 15mb. You would need 3 files at that import size.
Let me know if none of the smaller files will work. I’ll collect them from you via email and work on them from my side.

Only 1 of the 3 files worked. The file sizes were 14mb, 14mb and 4.7mb.
The smallest one is importing now.Can I email you the other 2 to see if you can get them to work?

Yes. I am going to send a note your way now. Attach those files in your reply and we will try and get them uploaded, or at least figure out why they aren’t working.
