Import stuck

  Hello, it seems that the Import function got stuck for my site: taiwanoca.wordpress.com

  It already says for 2 days that 918 posts, pages or media files need to be imported, but there is no progress.

  Hi, I’ve reset that if you’d like to try again. If have access to wp-admin on the old site, here are two tips that can make the import smoother:

  – Remove spam comments; delete them and empty the trash
  – If you have a lot of tags or categories that aren’t widely used, consider consolidating those a bit.

  Then export again, and import again.

  OR, you can also use a “WXR Splitter” (if you’ll search that you’ll likely find an option) to make the export into smaller files.
