Hi Help Center,
I wanted to import the archive data to my account, which I made on my local environment but it didn’t work with the error ‘No import file found.
Make sure you are using a valid WordPress export file in XML or ZIP format’I downloaded WordPress and created the website locally. I used a duplicator and got the zip file.

Could you please clarify whether the file inside the .zip file is an XML file or a directory containing a local WordPress install? Also which WordPress.com site are you importing to and what content are you trying to import? Once we have this information, we will be able to provide more accurate advice.

@peopleforcerecruitment If your .zip file has PHP files, you don’t have a WordPress Export file but a copy of your site, which is not something you can import using the import tools.
