  I removed my custom domain from the Tumblr page I want to import – it still shows as not being able to import due to the custom domain!! When will this change?

  I have reset your site’s importer. Would you please try again?

  If that doesn’t work, what is the URL of the Tumblr site you’re trying to import?

  Hm, the status listed in our logs is:

  So, it should be completing soon, but not for the site you listed. Is that site familiar to you?

  Yes – it’s another blog associated with the account for which this blog I want to import is also associated with.

  I wanted to test the Tumblr import with this blog

  Just to make sure we are on the same page, could you review this guide and let us know if you are 1) following this process; and 2) able to complete every step as it’s described?

  And to confirm, it sounds like you are first trying this as a test by importing ourrestlessdays.tumblr.com to pointtopointhockey.wordpress.com – is that right?

  Yes that was all true. The import from ourrestlessdays was successful (I just deleted all the posts.) The problem is I ultimately want to import the temp-ptphockey tumblr to this wordpress, and it is not recognizing that i removed the custom domain even though i did it hours ago. Photo of the issue.

  Sounds like you connected WordPress.com to your Tumblr account before you removed that custom domain possibly?

  If so please disconnect and reconnect tumblr again here, and it should pick up the correct site URL for you to import. The option to disconnect is at the bottom of this page: https://pointtopointhockey.wordpress.com/wp-admin/admin.php?import=tumblr

  Hi there!

  Can you tell us how long it’s been since you removed the custom domain? The change can take some time to reflect on our end, so it’s possible WordPress.com was still seeing the custom domain if you tried it as soon as you removed the custom domain on Tumblr’s side.

  Please wait some time and try again to see if that works. If you still see the problem, let us know again and we’ll dig into it further.

  I’m not showing your domain as the primary on your Tumblr site: https://temp-ptphockey.tumblr.com/

  The domain resolves to a Blogger-hosted site at the moment.

  I’ve reset the importer – you’ll need to reconnect to your Tumblr account again and you should be able to select the above Tumblr site for importing.
