Import Tumblr – "Custom Domain" problem

  Hi,

  I’m trying to import my posts from Tumblr. Early today I successfully changed the DNS on my host to point to WordPress. But, when I select Import Tumblr, I continue to see the “X Custom Domain” image on the list of content I could import.

  I did remove the custom domain mapping on the Tumblr side as well.

  What else do I need to do?

  Hi there,

  If you’re getting the custom domain error even after switching off the domain on Tumblr’s end, disconnect in the importer, go to the Apps section in Tumblr settings and remove WordPress there as well: https://www.tumblr.com/settings/apps

  Then restart the import.
