Import Typepad blog

  What happens if I import my existing Typepad blog? Does the Typepad blog remain intact? Is is hard to do and how are all the the posts assimilated. It doesn’t tell you in the tutorial.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The typepad blog will stay just as it is.

  The import process is painless in most cases and just takes a few clicks and such.

  Import a Website

  One suggestion is to set the typepad blog to “private” or whatever they call it so that it is not visible to search engines. The reason is that you do not want duplicate content on the web as the search engines will end up discounting the search engine ranking on both blogs.
