Import was working but today… no way

Hello. We are having the following problem. We have created a blog, given that our previous CivicSpace (Drupal) has crashed, after an upgrade to the php. We extracted the data from the CivicSpace DB and created an xml file, wordpress format like. We imported it into the WP blog one week ago and everything was fine. What I did next was to remove all the imported blogs, given that it was just a test. Today I have been trying importing the same file again, WP says:OK, but in the end nothing has been really imported.
Just to make a test, I have exported something from my blog, changed the title of one of the articles and imported back again. Again, WP said: OK, but nothing really happened, the name didn’t change. I have read some of the previous mails in the forum, and I wonder if tonight there is some maintenance or similar and maybe this is the reason why the import is not working anymore. Is it just me or can you confirm we have got some problems there at WP? Thanks a lot if you manage to give me a fast answer, Nicoletta

Sorry I found my problem. I was saving my file to import using a MAC format called: XML Word, and probably that was not welcome. When I saved in UTF everything worked fine. Sorry and please close this my support request.
