  Hi, there!

  I am trying to import my website on my newly created blog. Two attempts failed so far so I am contacting you to get help.

  The message on the first one was an unspecified error and on the second was that the upload was too large. It has 552Mb.

  Please help.

  Is the site you have the XML export file from still online?
  If yes, what is the URL?

  Sometimes the importer gets stuck. If the file is large you may have to import Posts, Pages, etc. in separate files. Or if the file is very large Staff may have to do the import.

  Hi @pacurarandi, 552MB is pretty large for a WordPress import. Were you importing from another service, and if so, which one?

  Or, if this is from WordPress, can I have you try creating a clean import? To do this, first delete any spam / unmoderated comments , then create your export again. It should be much smaller.

  Typically an import file should be under 15MB.
