import won't end – please reset

    I started an import a couple weeks ago, still shows in progress and I can’t try again. can you please cancel that import and reset my import ability? from other posts I’ve gathered that is the solution. thank you!

    1. Is the site you have the XML export file from still online?
    2. If yes, what is the URL?
    3. How large is the XML export file?
    4. Did you remove all advertising and unapproved comments prior to creating the XML export file.
    5. Did you receive any error messages? If so, post them here please.

    Sometimes the importer gets stuck. If the XML export file is large you may have to import Posts, Pages, etc. in separate files. Or if the XML export file is very large Staff may have to do the import.
