Import WordPress.com followers to WordPress.org

  Hi,

  I am helping my mother transfer her blog from wordpress.com to her own hosted version. She is adamant about preserving her wordpress.com followers (including the non-email ones). I’ve read that after activating Jetpack, it is possible for WordPress Support to transfer these.

  Can someone please confirm?

  Yes this is true, you’ll just need to wait for Staff to come by and do this for you (the thread has been tagged for their attention), please wait patiently and ensure you are subscribed to the thread to be notified of a reply.

  Staff need these:
  the WordPress.com URL
  the WordPress.org URL
  and Jetpack must be installed and activated.
  Then they can make the transfer.

  Do you want followers to be moved from highfiveandraspberries.wordpress.com to highfiveandraspberries.com ?
