  Is there anyway that you can create a page but it will not show up in the page sidebar. I use the Sapphire theme if that helps.

  Yes. You can edit the page widget and hide it based on page ID

  How do I find page ID numbers?

  What do you mean “it will not allow you to modify the page widget”? What browser are you using?
