Imported a xml file extracted from Xanga but cannot import the second one

    Hi there,

    I am trying to import my “Xanga history” into my own wordpress blog, however, after I imported the first and second xml file, I cannot import the third file and else. I did received an email from your side said that the import is successful and I can also browse them in my blog. So is there any way for me to upload faster, or I have to wait for 24 hours to import another xml file?

    Second question. I am trying to private all of my imported Xanga post. Is there any great way and fast way to change their category and privacy setting at the simplest way? As if I click all post individually even under “quick edit” function, it is still time consuming.

    I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up and they will reset the importer for you. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

    Note that you must open the .zip export folder you get from Xanga and import ALL of the files included in the .zip folder individually.

    If you continue to have trouble with your import, please try a different browser. You might also try the WordPress importer rather than the Xanga-specific importer.

    I’m seeing a total of 6 imports made on your blog, a few of them in the last few hours. Were all of these successful?

    There’s no fast way to change the posts’ categories and privacy setting, I’m afraid. You do have the option to set your blog as private if you prefer to limit access to the blog to yourself and invited users:
