imported file only contained 1 post

I am trying to move posts between 2 blogs at wordpress. I exported from one and imported to another. But it only contains 1 post. How do I export/import all posts?

You can open the xml file exported from your blog and look through it to see if there is only 1 post. If all your posts appear to be there, then it may be a wordpress problem. There are all sorts of weirdness with wordpress today which leads me to believe they have been doing some upgrades and things aren’t going as well as they would hope.
Wild speculation on my part but I’ve seen it in the past.

They are all there. Must be issues. Thanks for the quick response!! I appreciate it. Ill try again tomorrow.

If it won’t import by tomorrow, contact staff: http://wordpress.com/contact-support/ (Mon-Fri 8am-4pm Pacific time) or using the “support” button in the upper right of your dashboard.

Some improved importer code is running on WordPress.com as of a few minutes ago. Try again, and let us know if you’re still having problems.
