Imported from Blogger – deleted – reimported- now posts aren't showing up

About a week ago I imported a blog from blogger. However, after import I realized that I wanted to change the author. So I deleted all the posts, changed the author, and reimported them as a different user. Now the posts will not show up again even though it says they have uploaded. I think it thinks they are duplicates.
When I try to import them using the blogger import thing, it says they have all uploaded already.
When I try to -reupload them manually they don’t show up.Please help.

Hi there – Likely the deleted posts are still there in your Trash. Is the only content on the blog the imported material from Blogger? If so, I can empty the blog and then you can import it again.
If you have additional content on the blog, though, that would delete it too, so we’ll need to try a different tack.

Ugh the “Trash”… I didn’t even see it. I have cleared it now and will try to re-import. Hope it works. I will let you know. :)

OK 1/2 success – I deleted them and reimported and it worked. They are all showing up now. However, even though I set author as my husband’s user name, they are all showing up with me as author. It there any way to change this?

The easiest way to edit the author is probably to bulk edit the posts. Go here:
https://ecothriftylife.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.phpCheck the boxes next to all the posts that you want to change the author for, then select ‘Edit’ from the Bulk Actions dropdown at the top, and click the ‘Apply’ button next to it.
An editing window will open up and one of the options is an Author dropdown. You can select his username from there and then click ‘Update’ and it’ll update all selected posts in one.
