imported site but still redirects to the old domain

    Hi i just imported my site the-culinary-economist.com to theculinaryeconomist.wordpress.com because i didn’t want to pay for bluehost’s hosting services. But the wordpress.com site is still redrecting to the old site. I have canceled the renewal of the domain the-culinary-economist.com
    I want to make sure when that domain expires my wordpress.com site will remain functional.

    Hi there – It sounds like your goal is to have a completely free version of your site. And to get that done you exported your site from Bluehost and imported it to the new free site at theculinaryeconomist.wordpress.com.

    The site at theculinaryeconomist.wordpress.com will remain free and functional for as long as you’d like. Do you anticipate needing any additional features for this site such as a new custom domain or features that require custom WordPress plugins or themes?
