Imported wordpress blog uploads media but doesn't link the files

  I exported all the posts using the default wordpress export tool.
  Them i imported the xml file using the default import tool. There were 2 xml files in the zip file which I extracted. I uploaded the first one.
  I saw the posts were published and under the media library the images from the old blog where uploaded but when I checked the posts it contained the image links of old blog it wan’t linking to the images the media library of my new blog.

  Hi,

  Could you try to explain more clearly what you mean? The imported images from the old blog are in your posts, if I understand correctly, but they aren’t linked to what?

  I exported all the posts from old wordpress blog lets say oldblog.wordpress.com and imported it to the new blog newblog.wordpress.com

  After Import
  All the posts have been published in newblog.wordpress.com
  All the images from oldblog.wordpress has been uploaded to the media library of newblog.wordpress.com

  But

  All the image links inside the blog posts of newblog.wordpress.com
  are still linking to the media library oldblog.wordpress.com instead of the media library of newblog.wordpress.com
  for examble
  oldblog.wordpress.com/wp-content/images/image222.jpg
  instead of
  newblog.wordpress.com/wp-content/images/image222.jpg
