Importer stuck

  I’m importing a self-hosted WordPress site and it’s stuck on ‘We’re processing your import now and will send you an email when it’s all done. If you don’t hear from us within 24 hours, please contact support, and we’ll get everything fixed.’

  Can I get the importer cleared?

  Hi there,

  I’ve cleared the import for you, but I also see the file you’re trying to upload is almost 50MB big. We have a file size limit of 15MB for import files, so you’ll need to use an XML Splitter app to break that file into smaller pieces before you’ll be able to import it here.

  Also make sure you’ve deleted all spam and low quality comments on the source site before exporting – that can have a significant impact on the size of the export file.
