    I cannot import my website from wix to WordPress. When I go to the tools and import tab there is no option to import anything? It says if it’s not available then to download a importer plug in but I can’t find anything on there either?

    Jetpack: No

  • Hi @codyrosswork9 – are you using these steps? Also, to be clear, are you importing into codyrosswork9.wordpress.com ? If you are importing into your own DIY instance of WordPress, you’ll need a different setup:

    A few important notes:

    • This imports content only. Layout and design elements will need adjusting.
    • Sometimes Wix can be a bit finicky about allowing you to migrate your content.

    If you run into issues, depending on the site, it may be easier to just manually copy your content over a page at a time and adjust the template to your liking, since you’ll likely want to adjust layouts and design anyway.
