Importing
-
I’m trying to import my TravelPod files (XML – WordPress) created by TravelPod but am getting an error message.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Worked for me…what did I do?
1. Moved everything out of the zip file into a normal windows folder
2. In WordPress I got to the import window and didn’t do darg and drop. I clicked in the middle of the drag/drop window and it took me to the normal windows file selector.
3. My id in TravelPod is buckgw…so I had to open the folder called buckgw. Inside that I had to open a folder called XML-WordPress…and inside that are 12 files for my 12 blogs.
4. I clicked on buckgw.trip.1 and away it went
I suspect you’ve clicked on the wrong file
Good luck

Thanks, Gary. This did help get my TravelPod blogs imported into WordPress. But, no photos! Were you able to import your photos?

Hi @carolstravelssite – please let @supernovia (Staff) know the error message you received so Support can try to help troubleshoot this. Thanks.

Hi @supernovia … I followed @garywbuck instructions and was able to load my travel blogs — 1 trip at a time. However, the pictures did not import and I can’t find them in the files from TravelPod. Any thoughts?

Hmm, I only see one post with an image reference in it:
https://carolstravelssite.wordpress.com/2012/09/15/our-bags-are-packed/I’ll email you for the export files so I can see whether images are referenced there.
