TravelPod have written a step by step guide for exporting your content and importing it into WordPress.com:
http://www.travelpod.com/blog/2017/05/15/wordpress-import-intructions/
Once your TravelPod content has been exported, head over to the Import area in your settings:
https://wordpress.com/settings/import/
Make sure you unzip the file before you upload :)

Timethief, thank you for your help. I was able to import my blog posts using the link you provided. However, my photos did not get imported. Neither did blog comments.
I think the photos did not get exported from Travelpod when the text was exported, but I’m not sure what to do about it.

Yes, I was able to re-create the export file three times, but it was the same as the first one. I tried to export one to WordPress but no photos were exported.

It looks like TravelPod gave the images from your blog to you in a separate folder based on the instructions. What you’ll need to do is is upload those images in to your media library on WordPress.com and then manually add them to the posts. If you never received the folder you’ll need to reach out to TravelPod.
