Importing a blog from Blurty

  Hello WordPress Community!

  I used to blog on Blurty (yes, the most obscure and antiquated of all blogging platforms, but it was 2003 and the internet was a different place). I’d like to import those posts to WordPress from the XML files that Blurty let me export, but I can’t figure out how!

  Does anyone have any guidance? I’d really be grateful for any help I can get. I’ve love to get my old Blurty posts on my new WordPress account and move into the 21st century!

  Since there isn’t a direct Blurty importer available, I’ve tagged this for Staff input to see if there is a way to import your XML files.

  Could you please send the XML file to us by e-mail? This way we can take a closer look at the file and see if we can import it for you.
