Importing a blog from tumblr

Hi,
I am trying to use the import tool to import a blog from tumblr. There’s been no progress after about 30 hours. The Action/Status column of the importer says the import is “In Progress,” but no posts or drafts have been brought over. What should I do? Thanks!

It looks like the import process encountered an unexpected issue and was not successful. I’ve manually reset the importer tool on your site, so you can now try that process again from Tools > Import in your dashboard.

Hi! The import was successful, but images aren’t showing up on any post. Is there something I need to do to make them visible? Thank you.

I can see that images are present on the Media library of the site: https://wordpress.com/media/citiesallabout.wordpress.com
Moreover, the images are loading if you open the post individually, such as this: https://citiesallabout.wordpress.com/2016/11/03/chicago-usa-3/
The reason why the home page: https://citiesallabout.wordpress.com/ or the blog page are not loading images is because the images in the post are not set as Featured Image. You will have to manually set the Featured Image for every single post. You may refer to this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/featured-images/
Another option is to go to Pages > Home and add the Content block inside the Post Template block. This will show images present in the post. You may refer to this guide: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/post-content-block/
