I created a website in Squarespace but not ready to launch it, just want to save content for now until I’m ready to launch the business. I have exported the content from squarespace, its an XML file. I cant find where on my wordpress account is the ‘tools’ section so I can upload the file. Can you assist? Thanks! The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there,
You can use the WordPress option under tools –> import from your dashboard and that should import the XML just fine. Make sure that your Squarespace site is accessible at the time of the import so that all images will be transferred as well.
If you have any problems, let me know, and I can try the import on my end.
Thanks!

Hi, mgpelaez. I came across your post, and I was wondering if your issue had been resolved? I’m having a similar issue myself.

Hi staff-doublebassd,
Yup, tried to import through WordPress. Also, tried to import via Dreamweaver. Unfortunately, no success on either end.
What the site currently looks like after importing: http://www.roadbackfilm.com
This is what the site should look like:

Hi staff-doublebassd,
The attempts were far from a success. My client ended up cancelling his hosting plan with GoDaddy, so I’m no longer able to try on my end. Would you be able to see if anything can be done on your end, as a trial. I can send you the xml, if you’d like. Just would like to resolve this issue, and let the client be happy with his website up.
