importing a site

We have a site that is hosted by a company that is closing it down in August. They have a new offering but it is not appropriate for us. We’d like to import the site to a WordPress site but need to ask some questions first. I did talk to someone at some time but now I just see word that I can’t phone. Need to ask questions first.

Once you have purchased an upgraded plan (there is a 30 day refund window, 48 hours re domains) here at WordPress.com you have access to email and Livechat support with staff. With a free site this is the place to ask questions about upgrading. In your other thread(s) (one thread is best) you say you are not impressed with the support here. Staff regularly visit this forum and I have tagged this thread to ask if a member of staff can advise you further.
You could assist by providing some more information. Is your current site using the WordPress.org software or something else. What kind of site are you wanting to create? Will you require eCommerce etc etc. -
