Importing a theme
-
I’m trying to import the Touchfolio theme, following a tutorial. I’m starting a 2nd blog, and am trying to switch themes. The tutorial direct me to go to Appearance, Theme, then download theme, but there’s no download theme link visible. How can I import a theme I’ve downloaded?
Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Give it up please. The only themes we can use on WordPress.com blogs like your blog herehttp://pamperedfatcat.wordpress.com/ are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software are the themes that are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and in your dashboard at > Appearance > Themes
There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:
upload any third party themes,
create child themes,
create our own themes,
edit templates,
create own own layouts,
or use stylesheets from other themes.Relevant support docs:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/You cannot upload any third party themes into a WordPress.COM hosted blog so be clear on that. There is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.
Our support docs are here http://support.wordpress.com and no other tutorials or support docs apply to WordPress.COM hosted blogs.

Thanks for the response.
I’m looking for a theme to showcase storyboards. I have sequences of up to 200 images, (jpegs) that I’d like to be viewed in a slideshow way, where the viewer can tap arrows to advance the images.
Can you recommend such a theme for WordPress?
Thanks so much for your time,

We can create galleries and slideshows in any theme here http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/
Click the Find a theme button on this page to use the feature filters to narrow your theme search for your WordPress.COM blog. http://theme.wordpress.com/
