Importing a website from Squarespace

  Hi! I’m planning on importing a website from Squarespace. It’s a website for a literary journal, with a very high number of pages (almost a thousand). I’ve read the dedicated page on WordPress Support, but wanted to have more info before proceeding: if you’ve had experience with this kind of import, how well does page formatting transfer? How much work will it be to tweak the final result to make it look like the original website? Thanks!

  Hi there, I personally do not have experience with importing such a site, but please read our guide to transferring from Squarespace to WordPressdotcom https://transferto.wordpress.com/squarespace/ After you have a look at that, please let us know here in this thread if you have any other questions about it.

  In general, XML import files of up to 15MB are handled well. If your export from Squarespace is larger than that, let us know.
