Importing a WordPress site

  Hi
  I am trying to import a wordpress export from an earlier site but i keep getting a 413 error. Request Entity Too Large.
  what can i do

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi jayparabowp,

  It sounds like the .xml file you are trying to import is too large. 15MB is the maximum supported file size for uploads on WordPress.com, so you’ll want to make sure it isn’t any larger than that.

  WordPress.org sites have the option to export subsets of content. Posts, pages, media and categories etc can be exported separately rather than in one .xml file — that might help reduce the file size.
