Importing a wordpress template

  have a zip file which is a theme for movie site, it’s not getting imported to WordPress. It says please check if XML files. Please advise.

  Hi there, which site are you trying to import the ZIP file to?

  Here on WordPress.com, it’s only possible to upload a 3rd party theme if you have either the Business or eCommerce plan. https://wordpress.com/support/themes/uploading-setting-up-custom-themes/

  All other WordPress.com plans can activate the themes at https://wordpress.com/themes/
