Importing and Replacing Existing Content
-
I have just imported a site to WordPress, as I needed the custom theme to be exported and imported.
The content has been copied too, but I need to replace the content with new content. (The name of the business has changed, so all that has been changed is the reference to the old business with the new business name in replacement). When I import the XML document, it simply states that the pages already exist and nothing has changed.
I now have 3 duplicates of pages on my home screen menu. Is there a way to delete existing content and replace it with an import? Without loosing the imported theme?

Jetpack: Yes

Hey there @zweihausen,
I now have 3 duplicates of pages on my home screen menu.
Were you able to resolve this already? I don’t see duplicates currently, but if they’re there and I’m just missing them, can you share a little more context so I can see what you see? We’ll be glad to help you get this sorted. Thanks!
