Importing another blog

  I have a blog on another site and may want to import it onto my wordpress blog – my question is this – IF I do import it, does it automatically wipe it out from the existing one or will it just basically copy everything from one blog to the new blog of choice?

  WordPress will not delete your other one, if that was possible it would be total chaos out there.. After you import it it is up to you to delete the old one.
