importing archives from Blogspot

  I have a blogspot blog that I started in 2003, and I converted it to the new type of blogspot blog a couple of months ago. When I try to import the archives to wordpress, I can only get 1 post from each month (i.e., “august 1, 2007; september 1, 2007” but not the other posts I wrote during those months). I have about 700 posts to import – I am wondering if the reason I am only able to import 1 post from each month is that there is some kind of limit. I have tried to re-import, but that doesn’t seem to help. Thanks for any suggestions…

  Is your blog is hosted here at wordpress.com? If so, please provide a link to it, but in general as long as the file you are trying to import is xtml, there shouldn’t be a problem. There is a 8mb limit on uploads, but that typically won’t come into play when importing blogs. I would suggest you use the blue support tab in the upper right of your dashboard to contact support. Provide a full link to your blog, your username, your email address and a description of the problem.
