  Hi,
  I have a backup file with a .sql extension. Is it possible to upload this file?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Till my knowledge .sql doesn’t work for importing at wordpress.com

  The file needs to come to us in .xml format or through one of the providers listed in that import link provided above.

  You’ll need to convert the file in to a compatible import file listed here:
