Importing blog
-
Hi all, just wanted to check that my attempted tumblr import is still queued, since it’s now been more than 24 hours since I started the import and it looks like there has been no progress. The blog in question is thraaaaaaaanduuuuuuuuiiiiiiiiil.tumblr.com. Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there – I’ve double checked to confirm your import is indeed still queued and waiting to run. Please do reconnect to your Tumblr account if you’ve already disconnected it.
We’re processing quite a few imports from Tumblr at the moment, which is causing a backlog of imports in our system. While it may look like your import failed, it’s just in line for processing, and luckily it’s still in the queue. Please allow this to run another 24 hours, and if it hasn’t completed by then, update us here.
Thanks for your patience.

Hiya, it has now been more than 24 hours (again) and my blog is still processing. Pretty sure I never disconnected from Tumblr so I don’t think that’s the problem. Just checking that I’m still in the queue!

Hi there,
I’ve reset the Tumblr importer for your site so you can try again, as it appears to have failed.
If it seems to take long, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re still experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted, but it could be a few days before your new import is processed.

I haven’t tried to cancel the process myself at any point. In fact, yesterday I got a notice that I had reached my data import limit and that if I wanted to continue importing my blog, I needed to pay WordPress for a paid membership. Which I did. I hope it works this time because to be honest I’m not going to be thrilled to pay money and not be able to import my blog.

Your new import is showing as queue, so hopefully it will start soon, though I can’t give you an estimate at this point.
