Importing blog content

  I tried to import my old Posterous blog content to my new WordPress. I was nearly two days ago and it’s still processing. Should it really take this long? My old blog did not even include huge files, just few photos.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Howdy,

  Could you please download your Posterous content and then try importing from the backup file? Here are the Posterous instructions on how to download a backup: http://blog.posterous.com/posterous-spaces-backup-tool-available-now

  Once you’ve downloaded your zip file, unzip it and look for the WordPress export file (WXR). Next, upload that file via the WordPress importer (not the Posterous importer) under Tools > Import > WordPress.
