importing blog from Blogger

  I have imported my Blogger blog to WP and want to know if there is a way to (re)format ALL of the text from ALL of the posts that were imported ?

  Evidently I liked to use diffrent fonts and sizes when using Blogger, but want them to all appear in a standard/default font & size in WP.

  Is there a way to that for every post (I have over 150) without reforatting each post ?

  I did that for the ones that appear on my front page and that took forever, I can’t imagine how long 150+ would take.

  Maybe do a few a day so you won’t get too overworked. But allot of people never can get their blogs from Blogger to here at WordPress due to so many issues at Blogger’s end. You got all your posts exported.

  There is no bulk method of doing this. You will have to edit each one individually.

  I have the same issue. I have a blog on Blogger (the new version) and I want to move it to wordpress.com because Blogger has screwed up how the blog looks and, despite checking the template there AND previewing it to make sure it hasn’t changed, it’s still screwed up.

  Problem is I have 100 posts but WP only brings in *7* of ’em. I did export all my posts from Blogger to my machine but I don’t see a way to upload them up here. As well, they are all html pages.

  Anyone got ideas??

  WOW!

  Okay, this is what I found was screwing up everything. In your BLOGGER account, go to archiving and make sure that “enable post pages” is set to YES.

  Once I did that, the import went like silk.

  try to export your blogger’s content with blogger backup: http://www.codeplex.com/bloggerbackup

  The export’s format is the xml but after i don’t know how to import these files in wordpress…

  This is slightly off track but do I have to retain the same name for the blog when I import from blogger or can I name it what I want?

  You cannot change the url for the blog but you can change the name of the blog here ->Dashboard -> Options
  Blog title:
  Tagline:

  Complete the fields and click “Update Options” to save.

  Also note that some themes are not coded to display taglines (subtitles) even tough you can enter them on the page above.

  Hi, i’ve recently imported my blog from Blogger, and i was wondering that if i deleted the blogger blog, would this delete the imported posts?

  Welcome to wordpress. No it will not delete the imported posts because they are now on the wordpress.com servers so there’s no problem when it comes to deleting your Blogger blog.
