Importing blog from Movable Type along with pictures

  Hi,

  I searched the discussion forum for this issue but couldn’t find anything useful.
  How can I import my blog from Movable Type along with its pictures to WordPress by moving all the pictures to the WordPress server?
  The issue is that I have more than 1000 blog entries in Movable Type and each entry has at least one picture, so ideally I would like to move all the entries along with the pictures on the WordPress server (right now, my WordPress blog entries have pictures which reside on the Movable Type server and I wouldn’t want to reupload all of them again to WordPress).
