Importing blog from Multiply

I’m sorry, but I didn’t see this addressed in the forum.
Is this possible at all? If so, how do I do it (I’m not very HTML fluent).
If it’s not possible, what’s the right way to cut and paste, so that the date stamp is correct?

Not that I’m aware of. You can see the list of supported systems at Dashboard -> Manage -> Import. As always, feel free to submit a feedback from your dashboard with this suggestion.
We did come up with a work around using RSS and another WPMu install. You can read about it here. Do note that it will only import your posts and, since it’s RSS, the formatting my not be exact.

Resurrecting an old thread.
Me and my friends have Multiply blogs and was wondering is there any other way to do it besides the link drmike provided? The one that he provided doesn’t really work because the site daria.be is no longer active. Could anyone help on this?

I would contact support at Multiply and see if they can help. The best thing would be if they can create a standard xml file from your blog. Do you have an RSS feed off of your blog there? If so it can be done, but as I said, it’s a little more complicated, but it is doable.

Just checking in to find out if anyone has come up with a way to import a Multiply Blog into WordPress yet?
I have wanted to transfer my Y360 blog into WordPress ever since Yahoo announced the demise back in October 07. I even posted here and wrote customer service here suggesting they write an import program for us.
Nothing has happened here to assist us to import Y360 blog. But I ended up importing the Y360 blog into Multiply since thee wrote an import program for the Yahoo refugees immediately after the demise was announced. I have been maintain both sites as mirrors.
But WordPress is still my blog of choice. In fact I have two other blogs here and want to move my Yahoo/Multiply site here but have been unable to find a way since October 2007 to do so. If ANYONE has a way other that to cut and paste each and every post I would appreciate it and I know I am not the only person in need if this. I still believe it can’t be that hard to write an import program since Multiply did it pronto!

I did find out that multiply exports in CVS. So if we import our Y360 into Multiply (since they graciously wrote a program for Yahoo refugees to import their blog there) then how can we export the Multiply CVS version in WordPress? Is it possible please?
