Importing blog from Travelpod

  Hello all
  Travelpod has closed down so i desperately need to transfer blog over to WordPress before its too late. I tried to follow instructions but i cant find an ‘Import’ button in Settings. Any help would be appreciated.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thanks heaps that certainly helps but I’m having trouble now saving the zip files somewhere else on computer. Is there a way to copy and paste them because it won’t allow me to do that at this time.

  Hi again!
  The files have to be unzipped and then uploaded! You can email a copy to yourself, or use the Google Drive or Microsoft drive or any other Cloud storage to store the files now.
  Also, you can unzip them using Websites as well. And upload the file to WordPress in XML format.
  There is no way you can upload in Zipped format to WordPress.

  Thanks heaps for attempting to help me Pavan but most of what you said is foreign language to me. I have no idea how to unzip or email them as they are at present.
  One of the files says it’s is XML WordPress. Does this mean it’s already unzipped?
  Sorry to bother you with so many dumb questions but I have no idea how to achieve this. I don’t mind if I can’t even import them into WordPress I just want to be able to save and print them for memory sake.

  Hi again!
  Not a problem at all :)
  I was more bad at talking technology than you can believe :)
  Anyways, let’s figure out the way. The file which you get is in Zipped Format. When I say save a copy.
  Firstly just send an email to yourself or any other email you have by attaching the File you received from TravelPod.

  To cross check if you right click on the file “Get Info” for Mac
  And “Details” for Windows may be not sure, it will give you the format of the file.

  You can then secondly if you are using a Windows or Mac, if you right click on the File you will get an option to Unzip, just make sure you see where the files are located. Or where they get Unzipped, you can then export it to WordPress using the instruction in my first reply.

  If you still get a problem to Unzip or you could use some Online program like https://extract.me
  or
  http://www.files2zip.com

  One’s you’re successful to get the correct files, you can set them up on WordPress. You will have them on WordPress and Email.
  You can then Print using WordPress.
